Milk Bun Bacon Cheeseburger

Ingredients

Beef Patty 

70–80g beef mince  

Salt 

Cracked pepper 


Burger Sauce 

1 tbsp mayonnaise 

1 tsp ketchup 

½ tsp mustard 


Burger Build 

1× Cottage Lane 60g Milk Bun 113780

Butter, for toasting

1 slice cheddar cheese  

2 slices streaky bacon 

1 leaf crunchy lettuce 

2 slices tomato  


Method

  1. Make the burger sauce. In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, ketchup, and mustard. Set aside. 

  2. Toast the bun. Lightly butter the cut sides and toast in a pan over medium heat until golden. Set aside. 

  3. Cook the bacon. Add bacon to a hot pan and fry until crisp. Transfer to a paper towel to drain. 

  4. Shape & season the patty.Roll the mince into a tight ball, then gently flatten into a small, thick patty sized to the bun. Season both sides with salt and cracked pepper. 

  5. Cook the patty.Sear in a hot pan for 2–3 minutes per side. Lay cheese on top and cover the pan to melt. (Smaller patties cook quickly, so keep heat high for flavour.) 

  6. Build the burger.Spread burger sauce on the toasted bun base. Add lettuce, tomato, the cheesy beef patty, and crispy bacon. Finish with the bun lid. 

  7. Serve immediately for maximum impact in a mini package.
