Slay the Slaws Dressings

The beauty of Prepared Produce slaws is you can adapt them to your needs by simply adding herbs, avocado, nuts and seeds or proteins, along with one of these fool proof dressings.


Creamy Avocado Dressing

  • 1 ripe avocado, cubed (165803)

  • ¼ cup olive oil (35683)

  • ¼ cup sour cream (33404)

  • zest and juice of 1–2 lemons (165120)

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced (165786)

  • ¼–½ cup of cold water (to thin out the dressing)

  • salt and pepper (69431, 173001)

Place all ingredients except water into a high-speed blender and blitz until smooth. Thin out with a slow trickle of water until you have achieved the desired consistency. Season to taste.


Cashew and Coriander Dressing

  • 1 cup raw cashew nuts, soaked in ½ cup boiling water for 20+ minutes (172788)

  • ¼ cup lime juice (165135)

  • ¼ cup olive oil (35683)

  • 1 clove garlic (165786)

  • 1 tbsp maple syrup (81967)

  • ½ tsp salt (69431)

  • ¼ cup water

  • 1½ cups coriander (165072)

  • cracked black pepper (173001)

Put all the ingredients (including the water the nuts were soaking in) in a high-speed blender and process till smooth.


Ranch Dressing

  • ½ cup sour cream (33404)

  • ¼ cup buttermilk (45848 )

  • ¼ cup mayonnaise (46940)

  • small handful Italian parsley, chopped (165178)

  • small handful dill, chopped

  • 1 clove garlic, minced (165786)

  • zest and juice of a lemon (165120)

  • salt and pepper to taste (69431, 173001)


Mix all ingredients together in a bowl. Thin down with buttermilk and water if the dressing is too thick.


Honey Cumin Dressing

  • ½ cup rice bran or neutral oil (39762)

  • ¼ cup runny honey (172860)

  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed (165786)

  • 1 tsp ground cumin (172910)

  • ¼ cup lemon juice (165120)

  • ½ tsp flaky salt (17045)


Blitz ingredients together using a stick blender or small food processor.
